MONIC provides the following 2 domain name resolution settings: Domain Name HOST (HOST) and Domain Name Server (DNS) settings.
Domain Name HOST (HOST) provides the basic A and AAAA resource record settings, while the Domain Name Server (DNS) can specify the domain name to point to one or more nameservers, after the system synchronization (5~15 minutes), the relevant records (CNAME, MX, etc.) for the domain name resolution can be set by these nameservers.
02 Domain Name HOST (HOST) settings
The domain name HOST (HOST) provides the basic A and AAAA resource record settings for setting the corresponding IP addresses of the domain names/HOST names. Users can input your domain name in the Web browser and visit your website.
Login with profile and password
Click "My Domain" in "Domain Management"
Select the domain name that required to be set and click "HOST"
Fill in the Host name and IP address
Host name: Input the Host name you want to use, such as www.
IP address: Input the IP address corresponding to the Host name
Click "Submit" to save
03 Domain Name Server (DNS) settings
Domain Name Server (DNS) is used to set up resource records for domain name resolution services such as CNAME or E-mail (MX). When users input your domain name, its DNS settings control the domain name server that the user reach.
Login with profile and password
Click "My Domain" in "Domain Management"
3. Select the domain name that required to be set and click "DNS"
4. Click "Add DNS", fill in the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) record corresponding to the domain name server
